Weave Him Back To Me

by Void   Feb 16, 2006

As I rest these tired eyes,
Save me from truth, deliver me lies.
Take the whispers of broken smiles,
And give me a home that'll last a while.
Take the remenants of a wandering heart,
And build me the safety of his open arms.
Paint me his picture, sing me his speech.
Let me feel again, the love that I seek.
And when I reach this heaven, may I never let go.
May the pain of real world, never again show...
But soon one block will fall, and another will break.
I know my home will disappear, in the moments of my wake.

I thought this poem was good, and I like your rhyming ones better than your non-rhyming ones, but I am biased lol ! The last four lines were pretty good!
