Still fading

You said we would be together
forever..
I hoped, prayed you weren't lieing,
but inside I was slowly dieing,
I loved you,
and still do.
But with all this pain you've caused,
my life has quickly paused.
When you said good-bye,
I could only try,
to do the same,
but new I had only one aim,
to make you realize,
and open your eyes
to me and you,
and how we once were so very true.
But here in this place my heart is aching,
And I am slowly breaking,
But I will always be waiting
In this dark and gloomy space, still fading.
