Serious As A Heart Attack

by aDORKable x3   Feb 20, 2006

My heart skips a beat
When I see your face
My stomach drops
When I feel your embrace

When I hear my phone
Ringing its "Fur Elise"
My feet jump up and
My thoughts begin to release

You have a way to my heart
That has been locked up before
There's a door at the end
Leading to the core

The key to my heart was kept away
So that I couldn't feel the pain
But I thought, maybe this once
And, so far, my efforts not in vain

I've learned the hard way before
That somethings are better left unsaid
But, for all the reasons I can''t explain
Everything escapes from the head

You found the way to my heart
Which was off the beaten track
My love for my dear sweet guy
Is as serious as a heart attack

Nicely written ... and I loved the comparison to a heart attack.
