Before You Go

by Jesslyn   Feb 21, 2006

I curl my hair,
Put on my better face
You were coming to my place,
& you'd soon be there.

You come to the door,
So I let you in.
Then you're gone again,
Quicker than the time before.

I know it's all in my head
So I'm sorry it sometimes feels that way.
Most of the time is OK.
I don't want you to be mislead.

I just wanted you to know,
But I'm just glad you come to see me.
I just wanted to make you see,
Before the next time you go.
