Relenquishment of My Youth

by The Wingless   Feb 23, 2006

I have no regrets,
For anything I have done,
What is done is done.
I do not need kindness,
I need solitude.
With no solitude,
I cannot chase a dream.

No matter how far you get,
I will continue to try and defy you,
The colder you become,
The hotter my blood.
Of course I will continue to burn.

I have more and more scars,
Just for freedom..
Pain for freedom,
Are signs that I am alive,
There might also be a day,
When I stopped walking the path of love,
But that was too long ago.

While I see the distance between,
I look into the sky,
The vast wasteland of the stars,
I will continue to try and defy you,
The colder you become,
The hotter my blood,
Of course I will continue to burn.

Until I blow a fuse.
