Fake

by The Wingless   Feb 23, 2006

Bright lights,
Warm the cold nights.
While a lost child cries,
And dust covered memories fill my eyes.

I'm caught in dreams,
With beautiful streams,
And I can't see where they end,
But they end somewhere,
Soon the sun will rise.

It's a fake world,
It's a fake world,
It's a fake world,
And it's fading with the night.

It's a fake world,
Nothing is actually real,
Soon they will fade out of sight.

Birds fly, so far away,
Through the gold light,
Of a sun ray,
When the birds come back,
All the lies will be gone.

It's a fake world,
It's a fake world,
It's a fake world,
Filled with mysterious shades of light.

It's a fake world,
So unreal,
See the inhuman shapes of the night.

Birds fly so far away,
Through the clouds of a autumn day,
When they come back home,
The lies will be gone.

All the lies in this fake world.

This poem is good, it's just kind of well dark, I guess that does explain why it's in this section though
