Tears,,,

by Catastrophic Beauty   Feb 23, 2006

You want to cry deep inside,
But your tears become frozen.
Fighting so your tears won't hide,
But thats what they have chosen.

For your tears you are wishing,
For them to stream out like a river.
But your tears are done listening,
Causing your eyes to quiver.

Your eyes can't stay this dry,
But your tears arn't shedding,
The mass of them is too high,
Inside, they're slowly spreading.

Until one day they're born in your eyes,
Down your cheek they continue to pour.
Then on your lips they fade and die,
Leaving your eyes swollen and sore.

This is a really good poem. I think that you did a good job of creating the way it feels when you need to cry or want to cry. It takes great talent in order to put that emotion into words. That emotion of all emotions. Great JOb!!!!!
