Fly Away From Here

by The Wingless   Feb 25, 2006

Somewhere,
There Is a love,
That I will never know,
Somewhere,
There is a dream,
That I'll never reach.

I drive myself deep,
Into the pool of life,
Every single day,
Every breath I take,
I use it to be free,
I don't have time to turn around,
Because it's my turn to go forward.

I'm going to fly away from here,
To start to learn to live,
In my life, It's time to try again,
Finally find my way,
Right now,
I haven't exactly found,
What I am looking for.

I'm going to fly away from here,
To learn how to breathe,
To start to learn to live,
In my life, It's time to try again,
Finally find my way,
Right now,
I haven't exactly found,
What I am looking for.

Somewhere there's a flower,
That I've never grown,
Somewhere there's a heart,
That I'll never feel.

I spend my time,
In the shadows of disappear,
Just to be myself,
But I always turn around,
never looking forward.

I'm going to fly away from here,
To start to learn to live,
In my life, It's time to try again,
Finally find my way,
Right now,
I haven't exactly found,
What I am looking for.

I'm going to fly away from here,
To learn how to breathe,
To start to learn to live,
In my life, It's time to try again,
Finally find my way,
Right now,
I haven't exactly found,
What I am looking for.

    Mike,

This poem seems very...lyrical, is there any chance of putting it to music? I think it would make a fantastic song. That desire to grow, and to look a head is one many people I know feel this as well.

Structure, typical yet very...suited to this, I strangely attracted to this poem lol I really love the repition and

    Somewhere there's a flower,
    That I've never grown,
    Somewhere there's a heart,
    That I'll never feel.

    Well done hunny,
I love you to the end
