A fading red sun

The Fading Red Sun

I sit and watch the fading red sun,
I've done all i could, this day is done.
It's the moons turn now to illuminate the sky,
Until the early morn where we once again say goodbye.

Still each day seems so much like the rest,
There are still so many things which remain unconfessed.
Still so many words and voices which remain unspoken,
And there are many hearts which still remain broken.

The strength of a persons heart, can that be the true test?
Is that what sets one person aside from all the rest?
Maybe it is, it could really be so,
But there is only one person who would truely know.

You're life is how you make it,
You do what you feel fit.
There is no one who can show you what to do,
You do only what you feel is best for you.

So i say goodbye yet again to this night,
The moon provided such an exquisite sight.
And i say hello again to the gorgeous red sun,
And thank GOD for allowing to me see another day just begun.
