A sunset beach

Our lives are growing more each and everyday,
i stare out at the stars from this bed where i lay.
though my life seems complete theres nothing i can do,
for my life seems lost unless im standing there with you.

youve captured my heart which was once a shielded scar.
youve imprisoned my soul longer than anyone by far.
youve shown me true happiness a the reason to believe love is real,
youve opened my heart once again, you let me trust and feel.

your voice is like a lullaby to by ears,
your love can keep me happy for years and years.
youre the snow i see on my christmas morn,
youve completed my heart like it was never torn.

you give me inspiration a whole new way to look,
i realize now you cant learn how to love outve a book.
its something you must experience,or its useless to all,
its like learning how to walk, youve first got to crawl.

so i drift back now to a sunset beach,
a place of beauty where only you can reach.
i will be waiting here for our time to be,
but until then i sit staring at the sea.
