It's hard to know that you're really gone.
I wish you could come back home.
It's not the same as it used to be, it's not the same since you went away.
Sometimes I think it's all a dream,
then I realize you're really not here with me.
I miss you so much, I wish it wasn't true,
but I know in my heart, you're in a better place, looking down on me and keeping me safe.
