Hurt deep within

Every now and then,
I see your smooth peach skin,
But now all I see,
is the red marks, and the hurt deep within.

I've tried to get you help,
Everyone already knows,
but yet u carve deeper and deeper,
someday you may leave me.

Last night i sat by my bed to pray,
I asked the lord to bless your soul,
and then to set you free.

I asked him to give you a life to love,
So that you could laugh and play.
I asked to make the mean kids nice,
So your new life could be bright.

All you have to do is believe,
that it'll all soon change,
Then when the time comes,
you'll be happy once again.
