Home isn’t where the car is parked
Or where the family name is marked
It’s not where you live or stay
Nor where you learn and play

Home isn’t the name of the town
It isn’t the silence that was once a sound
Home isn’t where you’re told
Nor where your life unfolds

Home is where you keep your heart
The place you hate to part
It’s the place you love going to
Where you’re not afraid to be you

Where your comfortable and at rest
Where you feel your best
When you’re gone it’s the place you miss
Home is where love is
