Not perfect anymore

by nickie   Feb 27, 2006

She was a rolemodel, that's what some would say. She had the perfect life until she threw it away.

Straight A student. Number one in her class. Heart made of gold, yet fragile like glass.

She had a wonderful boyfriend, who loved her with all his heart. They'd been together 4 years and nothing was going to tear them apart.

She had one true best friend. As beautiful as can be. They'd been best friends since they were about 3.

She was the captain of the cheering squad at her school, while her boyfriend was the football star and her best friends was the basketball fool.

Her parents were so kind and I know you'd agree. All they wanted was to see their daughter happy as could be.

Her life was perfect. She had the world in the palm of her hand, but there was one thing about her that nobody could understand.

This girl barely smiled and when she did it was only for short periods of the day and when someone would ask her what's wrong she'd reply "nothing, I'm OK."

She couldn't take the perfectness. She went home and cried. Popped a few pills and died a little inside.

She walked across her bedroom, to her dresser drawer, pulled out a knife and cut a little more.

Memories of old times were now in the past, as she fell to the floor she fell hard and fast.

Later that night she was found dead, in a puddle of tears and blood, laying on her bed.

Her mother found a note and she read "I'm sorry I have to say goodbye" as a tear fell from her eye.

Her mother wasn't prepared for what was in store, as she read that the letter was signed by "Not Perfect Anymore."
