You're my whisper of hope

by LockedInEternity   Feb 28, 2006

A faint whisper of hope,
A voice far away.
Telling me silently,
That it'll all be ok.

A spirit awakening,
The voice gave it hope.
That voice somewhere distant,
Descending the slope.

A truth in it all,
The world starts to make sense.
The tender voice,
Soothing.
The water so dense.

T'was a lock on the door,
But it is now it is gone.
My spirit wants more,
It seems to be drawn.

Ever so slightly,
Your voice carries on,
The smile in me,
Growing
The spirit,
A pawn.

The voice that had saved me.
The voice that I know.
A delicate flower,
That's ready to grow.

T'was you it belonged to,
To me it gave power.
You helped me move on
Not a cell left to cower.
