Will u notice?

Birds chirp happily beyond the window,
i try to embrace their carefree ways,
though thoughts keep taking me back,
back to those pain filled days...

always coming second to them,
being invisible isnt easy or enjoyable,
slowly we grew further apart,
fighting until it was no longer tolerable,

when i closed my eyes,
i was in a place i wanted to be,
some where you couldnt hurt me,
this place was one i longed to see,

just as i couldnt take anymore,
my dream became reality,
the fight has been goin on to long,
so finally i leave...im free...
