In my world

by Lauren G.   Mar 1, 2006

In my world
souls are
black and charcoaled
from constant flame
they are damaged
beyond repair
In my world
the record skips
playing a silent tune
over
and
over
driving the mind
to insanity
once again
In my world
magazines
are missing words
and pictures
ripped out and
disgarded
like trash
In my world
time has no meaning
it only
confuses
and remind us
of our cruel fate
In my world
emotion does not
exist
laughter is never
heard
tears are not
shed
the rain cries for us
it comes down in
sheets
it never stops
In my world
there is clutter
and chaos
lights are
dull
they fade
in the distance
In my world
we do not long
for music
and happiness
because we do not miss
what we have no
knowledge of
In my world
it's dark
and cold
because we have
nothing
we want
nothing
we feel
nothing
and we ARE
nothing.
In my world.
