Today

Today is today
it can't be tomorrow
it is today
and it is filled with sorrow

tomorrow is then
but it is also when
everyone wakes up to drink from their cup

they go through their lives
not thinking about us
acting like they're being forced to drink pus

they think they are mending
but they're just pretending
they're fooling themselves into thinking
they are great.
