Beautiful Rose

The beautiful rose
Grew black within my hands
Its petals faded away
Like all the others once again

It crumpled to pieces
Losing its softness
But all the lies you said
Seemed Continuous

My tears fell down my face
I wondered how this could be
The only thing I ever did
Was loving you more than me

I fell to my knees
With nothing to say
I had no words now to speak
I didn't want it this way

These bits of the rose
Soon flew out of my grasp
I reached out for it
But my strength could not last

My eyes just shut
And my self weakened
I could not stop
It was hard to start speaking

It felt so worthless
To sit and cry
Holding into memories
That should have died
