I want to tell you how I feel and I guess you already know,
I've been told to forget about you and to let you go,
I've thought about you night and day longer than I care to say,
I don't know what to do because I am used to having my way,
I know that you don't feel the way I do but maybe later you will,
Ill be here as long as you need to make up your mind and maybe love you still,
Because no one deserves to be alone even if it's just a good friend,
The way I feel about you is all the truth and none of its pretend,
I've known you for the longest time and I wish I would of spoken,
But not saying anything at all is what got my heart broken,
Whenever I look at you it reminds me of what I can not get,
I hope that's not the truth just that I haven't got you yet.
I know that in the end you will make the right choice,

I've learned from experience that things don't always workout the way you want them to,
But I'd rather try to make it work than to think what I would do if I could be with you,
