Lonesome Hearts

by Simon Hayes   Mar 6, 2006

My heart a lonely vagabond
Itching to be cleansed
Searching, wanting, needing
The warmth of your arms

Reaching out for love,
Gasping for serenity.
The doorway to eternal riches,
The pathway to happiness.

Happiness, riches,
Locked away inside your heart.
Reserved for the perfect love,
That someone who sets you free.

If only you would let me in,
Give me the key to your heart.
Only then will you see,
It is me you are searching for!
