It Took Me A Lifetime

by Ed or Ian Henderson   Mar 9, 2006

It took, for me, a lifetime
To transcend this neutral state
Walking life\'s pages
Betwixt love and hate.
Saw the stonework was crumbled
On the walls I had built
I repair only to shadows
Your wan light is my guilt.
What did solace give me?
Bluff with cruel hands you dealt.
I can bargain for miracles
And then live what you\'ve felt.
So sing for me your echoes,
And liberate my own lies.
It took, for me, a lifetime
To be beholden to goodbyes.

Amazing peice of poetry, I loved it. I would like to see it a bit longer, for I was just getting into it when it stoped, other than that, Great Job. Keep up the Awesome Peices of work.

    Peace, Joe
