Shadow's of my Failures

Shadow's of my failures give chase
This is a cruel race
One that I can't win
I guess this is the end

I remember all the times I lost
It chills me heralding the coming frost
My soul will freeze
I will cease to be me
Everything I know will cease to be
I will cease to see

And my heart bleeds
It feeds
the snow
That becomes redder blow by blow

I battle my failures
my personal jailers
Locked inside my mind
Pain is all I find

I can't run anymore
Yet instead of falling to the floor
I turn to my darkness
look in to my losses
I face my pain
Knowing it will drive me insane
