If you had the world at your beck and call
in the palm of your hand, you possessed it all
what would you use it for? what would you do?
what would happen if it were all up to you?
would you travel the world around and around?
or would you stay home, all safe and sound?
would you take all the riches and leave none for the poor
then hide in your room as they bang on your door?
or would you take from the privileged and give away
to pay so the sick can live another day?
or would you ignore the whole world, shut it all out
thinking only you is what its all about?
if the burden of the world was placed on you
how would you ease it? what would you do?
would you take it as a reward, take it with pride
or would you leave it to others, your just along for the ride?
if you had everything, where would it go?
the answer you'll probably never know
but it makes you think, of what you would do.
