I Smile

by The Wingless   Mar 11, 2006

I don't know why
But I've been here
Underneath the stars

I came from there
But now it's too far
Alive only in dreams

Places I see myself
Wandering through the streets
But I'm not lost anymore

I smile for the people I need everyday
For the people who care for me anyways
I smile for the people I see in the night
They smile back at me, without a fright

Sounds of rain drops
Fill my heart with joy
Anything can be a miracle

Scent of summer breeze
All around
Whispers as the trees hold me
It's safe to sleep

It's the rain
That's been loving
It's the moon
That's been glowing
It's the wind
That's been knowing

I smile for the people I need everyday
For the people who care for me anyways
I smile for the people I see in the night
They smile back at me, without a fright

    Wow.. This is amazing!

There is a unique flow in this poem. I love the different parts, all with a different flow. Which makes it exciting to read.

Cause sometimes when a poem is very long with the same rhytme and rhyme it gets a bit boring to read, cause you can tell what's next.

I love the "It's the rain.. It's the moon" part.. amazing haha.

Creative poem! One of a kind.. Master piece. Love your work, I really do.

Should have found you sooner damnit! Haha.. But oh well.. Now I have some new stuff to read, which I love, so I'll add you to my favorites and I'll try to catch up =)

    Lotsaaaaaa love -xxx-
