The Perfect Kiss: Second Version

This poem is a revised version of the original. The meaning of the poem comes from the bottom of my heart:

I asked God for that special love,
That can only come from up above.
I asked God for some affection,
But he gave me your perfection.
Thank God he sent you to me,
It was destined to be you and me.
With you it's like a dream,
To me you're everything.
But our love is forbidden,
It could only be hidden.
I think about you all the time,
It hurts me knowing you're not mine.
You said this love is true,
We're going to make it through.
I want to be with you, together,
I'll love you forever.
I'd change the world for you,
So you won't feel the pain I do.
When I'm with you everything goes by so fast,
I wish our love could forever last.
You take my breath away,
In ways words can never say.
This dream can never die,
I swear I'll never make you cry.
Our bond is so strong,
This perfect love can't go wrong.
Even when you're gone,
Our love will go on.
We talked about everything,
Our hopes and our dreams.
This bond that I share with you,
No one can ever break.
This love that I have for you,
No one can ever take.
Yes these words I say are true,
I do love you.
My only opponent,
Is this one special moment.
Your eyes are so bright,
Shining with light.
The setting is right,
This action I might.
So I stand up to my biggest fear,
Wipe away all of my tears,
Hold you close for that one special kiss,
I promise I will not miss,
It's inevitable to be,
The perfect kiss.
