The Day

======================

So in the silent darkness of the night...
I scream for you

And it was on this day that I bid for death
"Come reaper!" I told the angel
"Take me to the abyss!
Where I can obtain the torture I so desire!
I call for justice in light of my sins!"
And so the gathering of tools began
First that for the judgement
Next was what caused the fall
And finally those who would consummate the deed
So as I cried, taking the knives from the drawer
I remembered the heinous act
Feeling her hallowed body against mine
As we touched forbidden places
I tried to steal her innocence
Through those daemons living in me
So I call for the execution of these abominations
That black dragon who resides within my heart
Only the death of the vessel will silence it

I descended into hell
That hell of white-washed walls
and white-coated personnel
Seemed darker than pitch before my blooded sight
And the thoughts consumed me
The daemon, angel, and machine
They battled before my tearing eyes
Then left to myself, I thought of myself
My dishonorable weakness allowed for both acts
The sin of lust and the wish for death had been the enemies
So I continued
Among the screams and the gnashing of teeth
Fighting through this furnace to be purified

Hence I came back to this world on the day of love
But only a perverted sense of love
Took refuge in my heart
