A Handful Of Pills

by Amanda Brown   Mar 14, 2006

My time is up, its time to go
No fancy business no big show
A few moments that's all it takes
A handful of pills don't want to wake

A note for all who loved and cared
Do not cry I have been spared
My life a waste I couldn\'t stay
A handful of pills seemed the best way

The pain I feel is so intense
The volume of tears is so immense
The cowards way is out was my only shot
A handful of pills classy or what?

My first choice a blade
The blade of my hate
Too messy I think I need something fast
A handful of pills was up to the task

My apologies to all that have hurt
But I could bar it no more
My relief will be instant and last an eternity
A handful of pills i've saved my sanity.
