At her lovers side

by cowgirlstar26   Mar 15, 2006

A cascading wind
a dark night
nothing left
but a mournful sight

a pale face
lifeless eyes
no one knows
why she really cries

summoned within her
an Ecstasy flows
an anger rages
as the crimson blood shows

she's locked away
in her silent tomb
all cries unheard
as her loveless heart's consumed

she goes to school
and hides this pain
her friends didn't get it
so why should she stay?

so she leaves
she runs away to find him
to try and save a love
that over the years is growing dim

his eyes meet hers
he turns away
she touches her hand to his
in her eyes he sees the pain

tears start falling
as he pulls her near
she finds comfort in the arms
that always fought her fears

they talk for a while
about the past and present
he tells her he's missed her too
and she's all he has left...............

I really like the story line. It's quite intriguing and kept my interest.
However, you have a lot of words that aren't needed and it breaks the flow. There is also alot of repitition of these un-needed words that water down the emotion, so to say.
I'd put my suggestions in this comment but it would be very time consuming. If you want, private message me and I'll tell you my thoughts...
