A Love Song

by edy   Jan 24, 2004

You want me to write you a song
But I don't know how it would go
But if I was forced to write of love
Through words this is what I'll show

I'll first show you my thought's
Like a cloud in a cartoon above my head
You'll see my heart pounding crazily
As I watch you walk towards the bed

I'll than show you my eyes
They say your pupils grow
When you see beauty
Well I don't think they can get any bigger
Only because of you I think?

After that I'll let you feel my skin
I'm sure you have gotten goose bumps before
Well I get goose bumps for only people that I simply and truly adore

Once after that I'll sit there and think
Ill wonder what to show you next
You wanna help me

Im trying to write a song
But I don't know the next verse
Can you sit there and feel my heart
Do you think it's my heart you will ever hurt

I promise to show you my heart
But you must promise to never go
Because once you see my heart
It's your's, in your hands, It's to only you that my heart I'll show

I'll promise to love you and love you
Till forever comes to a brief end
But forever is meant to be forever
But what is forever than?

Forever is loving you
That long lasting love
That feeling of butterfly's in my stomach
When I see your beautiful soul approach

But I'll show you no more because from here I can only love
So if that's alright with you
Than from here we shall go
