Save Me From Myself

by Ashes of a Black Rose aka Night Child   Mar 16, 2006

CUT MY THROAT AND SLIT MY WRISTS
SLICE MY SIDES AND POUND MY FISTS
PAINFUL MEMORIES IN MY HEAD
SOMETIMES WISHING TO BE DEAD
DARKNESS COMES, DEATH'S CALLING ME
I START TO FALL AND THEN I SEE
ALL THE GOODTIMES I LEAVE BEHIND
BUT I TAKE THE HORRORS I'LL ALWAYS HIDE
DEAD BODY LAYING ON THE FLOOR
ALL MY BLOOD I DID OUTPOUR
CRYING SOFTLY
A FIGURE CAME IN
CRYING WITH GRIEF...
I'VE BURDENED HIM
CRYING WITH PAIN THE ILLUSION STANDS
THEN KNEELS DOWN TO TAKE MY HAND
HE BEGS OF ME
TO RETURN TO THIS LIFE
HIS LOVE SAVED ME
FROM DYING TONIGHT
I WANT TO SAY THANKS
BUT AWAY HE FADES
WHO SAVED ME?
I DID NOT SEE YOUR FACE
