Depression\'s Mirror

by Ashes of a Black Rose aka Night Child   Mar 16, 2006

I pass by the mirror
And ponder the sight
The reflection is empty
There is only the night

Look back on the day
Find only the pain
I want tears to fall
But I refrain

I feel like crying
And I'm not ashamed
The colors are swirling
And I'm going insane

Slowly in silence
I blink an eye
Standing there letting
Time creep by

The razor within reach
But im too a afraid
I'm no longer worth it
My innocence decayed

My mind is racing
Screaming ringing in my ears
I cant understand anything
And nobody else hears

I look into the mirror
And I punch the wall
The reflection is true
I am nothing at all
