Satan's Statement

by Bradley Peter   Mar 17, 2006

Your foot prints left behind
on the sand in which you've trod
you cannot escape me child
for I'm no man but in fact a god

your just delaying your fate
you must realize that you can't win
its time you faced punishment
for your mountain of mournful sin

no plea will save you now
can't you see its far too late
forgiveness is forbidden
this has always been your fate

you can resist it all you want
if that will make you heart content
but know this now my child
this was now and always meant

your fighting amuses me
but he doesn't want you up there
but that's not really a problem
I've got plenty of room to spare

i look forward to your arrival
my anticipation's at its peak
but i guess I'll have to wait
heck! it's only another weak

Dark and well-written, I really lyk ur dark material, cos it's alway gives an interesting perspective on things we take as granted: truth and light, Right and wrong etc. But luvd da poem as usual it's creative, insightful and brilliant. All my love,
