Emerald Karma

by Christy Trenholm Schmall   Mar 18, 2006

A longing for
Ancestral lands
Never sated

Great Stone Castles
of Emerald Isle
Oceans of Time
behind me

Where I belong
Visions of a
Home I've never seen

Voyage stopped
by here and now
Primal Memories

Thick Green
Velvet Moors
soft comfort
underfoot

Scent of Heather
in my nostrils
Where I danced
laughed Wept
the Gael

In another life
that Haunts me
still
I weep
