Deep Running Emotions

by Psymon   Mar 21, 2006

Deep running emotions, you held onto for dear life
Emerging from the prison you had to create
Not sure, anymore, what love is; settling for less
The time has now come, to climb out of the mess

You shine brightly, too much for some, perhaps without knowing
Doing yourself down was your second skin
Now the storm is passing, you step with relief into the calm
Ready to open your heart, aware of the need to stay from harm

With your quickness, you are powerful, beautiful
It's good to see the reality when you drop your facade
With your infectious smile, you steal into my mind
Suddenly you become someone loving and kind

I have no idea who you are...
friend, for sure
There are no expectations to cloud hope and desire
Watch yourself growing into your child
Vibrant and joyfully wild

I write these words, inspired by your strength
I admire how you have struggled to get to where you now stand
I wish you power and encourage you onto who you are
No matter where you have to travel, no matter how far.
