In the Night - No More Limbo

by Jemma   Mar 21, 2006

I've seen your masquerade while you're holding hands with the night
I've made an enemy of love and I'm screwed
I'm gambling away, locked in the game
The chances are certain I'll lose

The flashes of your hair as you whistle through the air
And the sigh that you can't hold in
A gasp and a splutter, the strange words that I mutter
Only your eyes are in sight
You're coming closer, the music is upon me
The gentle rhythm and song for tonight
The heat is here as I'm so close to your chest
You're eyes stand reflecting the moon.

We're stood trailing roses in a shower of stars from above
We're out of limbo, the dance getting old
And the back's bent backwards too far
You're holding me close now; I know I won't fall again
I'm tracing the outlines, unknown characters
A language I don't, can't understand
How could I have missed you before?
How could I have missed how I felt?
I'm holding your hand as we walk through this life
And we're singing, our hearts with the stars
We're laughing with out eyes but no one sees us now
We're wrapped in a blanket of night
