Slice of Heaven

by X Irrad   Mar 22, 2006

A little slice of heaven can be seen, without the fuss,
Of attending Sunday mass or fighting battles with Hamas,
You needn\'t murder Pagans nor deprive yourself of food,
You needn\'t dance to Techno in a psychedelic mood,
And although I know the joys of kama sutra and of tantra,
You\'ll find that if you\'ll go and memorize my little mantra,
The strangest sense of goodness will pervade your every thought,
Your worldly worries atrophy and dwindle down to naught,
Your ability to cope with vicissitudinal distress,
And the likelihood that after death your spirit will progress,
Will far surpass the point that you are able to believe,
And you may think my goal is just to cheat and to deceive,
The little secret, little meme, I carry round all day,
Is not a complex concept, but rather, it\'s a way,
To cast away your demons, those that lurk at every turn,
You must marvel at God\'s greatness, and make certain that you learn,
What it is that underlies the nature of this world,
Then before you know, my secret thus, before you is unfurled.
