Crazy Feud

by Psymon   Mar 24, 2006

We used to play here as children
And the air was so much cleaner then.
We'd run around laughing out loud
Yeah, you could hear us scream, you could hear us shout.

Then off in the distance there would come a voice
It's time for bed child you've got no choice.
I'd hide myself in the darkening eve...
But the growing fear would always make me leave.

You'd use violence instead of love
With your angry words you would push and shove
Equality well it just didn't exist
And your words of care became so meaningless.
You'd call me stupid when I didn't understand
Then you would show me the palm of your hand
Seems I always took the wrong attitude
And here we are now, left with this crazy feud.

Now is now and I'm here without your fear
But the pain you inflicted still brings a tear
I don't blame you for any of your crimes
Our history charmed you with all its lies.

Mother and father you were always so right
But you didn't realise that I was just as bright
Mother and father you were always so right
You just didn't understand why I had to fight
Had to fight
