Dance with Death.

by beth   Mar 25, 2006

I dance with the knife,
Cutting patterns and swirls,
Imagine their lives
Without me in the world.
Smothered in remains of heartache,
Dripping crimson tears,
Sing the final song
Of a girl corrupted by fears.
As each step gets faster,
The rhythm I soon forget,
Echoes of fierce laughter.
I’m the girl that danced with death.
