The Colours of an Addict

by kaufy   Mar 28, 2006

I am loosing you to the brown.
Your pink is fading and grey is replacing.
Where once you crimson flowed through your blues, grey is engulfing.

I have found your white pins & needles
I have seen the purple bruising your pricks make
I have seen how you blacken yourself
I hate seeing your hazels roll back

I will never understand the rainbow of euphoria,
The gold shimmer of loss of anxiety
The silver lining of your safe cloud

Will your yellowness make the black prince after your discoloured soul?
Will the possibility of putrid green infection make me loose my pink?
I don\'t want to be grey.
