Death's Shore

by S R P   Mar 28, 2006

Scarlet trails lead down the path
walked and beaten
the true reign of wrath.

Blood there pours
along the trail
of stained shores
death's face pale.

Longing deeply
from within
a silent plea
way back then.

Here lies no mercy
even for the silent plea.
Take no chance
from here do flee.

Fate plays with the mind
always confused
always blind.

Silent pleas
along death's shores
the bloody trail
through open doors.

Destiny plays it's role
always nothing
taking control
of the present sting.

Crimson sea
rising above
to be free
along death's shore.
