Sugar coating

by Cleo   Mar 29, 2006

You unpeel my layers slowly
Each one revealing something new and unexpected
I do not want to rush
But you insist
You want to know
You want to understand

You are down to the final few
Im begining to think you can make it
Then one truth smashes you across the face
You go running
Just like the others
One in a long line

Since then i have learnt to keep myself underwraps
I have long forgotton understanding
No one can take the reality
So I shall keep up the pretence
Suger coating the bitter ugly truth within
