And Then Time Catches Up

by Jemma   Mar 29, 2006

Your laugh's hiding fear and anger and anxiety
Filled with the flaws of this hypocrite society
Stolen smiles and a pinpoint on an old maps
Crying at the finish line cos I'm still running laps

And I feel like I'm stood on the verge
Bursting with emotion, yeah, I feel it start to surge

Tracing all the contours and I'm feeling you
Seeing past the outlines, start our lives anew

And then time catches up, senses our dreams are fighting back
Snatches love away again now we know what we lack
We always know

A life full of anger, resentment again
A chance of love was wasted and all we feel is shame

But then time catches up with me and listens to my heart
It plays with my heartstrings now I know we must depart

It's oh so cold
I feel alone without you by my side
Lost in my own labyrinth
I only wanted to hide
Just a while, not so long
I needed you to get me through
But then time catches up with me
Again and again

**well i wasn't really sure where to put this. maybe sad cos the relatiionship is contiunually on the rocks but well it's still there even so so i put it here**
