The April Fool's Forum

I often need inspirin'
To write a poem of two
But thought I'd try it [just this once]
And send the mess to you.

The mountain fell down to the sea
The fridge was on the lamb
The holey socks went to church
The bread seduced the jam.

The water mixed with olive oil
The darkness hurt my eyes
The rain, it fell upside down
Instead of wet, It dried.

The head chopped off the chicken
The dreams were wide awake
A song was said instead of sung
And that for badness sake.

My plants grew up into the sky
My problems went away
But other than these little things
It was a normal day.
