A RoSe

You came to my house
and gently knocked on the door
you hugged me, looked at me and said
"I cant be without you anymore"

a rose you held out..
as i took it from your hand
none of my feelings
acted out as planned

i wanted to close the door
and never look at whats on the other side
i want to b able to look at you and smile
without you knowing that I'm dying on the inside

i wish that rose will die
so i will never see your face in it
the feelings that still remain for you
i will never admit

you changed my life completely
and thats what makes me suffer
day after day
life without you seems to be getting rougher

but i cant let you see
that your lies have brought me down
i wish that i can gather all my tears
so in them you can drown

now i take this rose
and throw it away
closing the door for good
so now i can sit here and pretend I'm OK
