Emotions

by Tammie   Mar 31, 2006

Frustration, anger, hate,
There are so many emotions inside me,
Sadness, love, happiness,
All of which you can't see.

I try to express them,
Through words which can turn into tears,
I try to tell my hope and dreams,
And also my hates and fears.

Sometimes it's hard,
Sometimes it's easy,
It can make me laugh,
And make me feel queasy.

If I hold them in,
They will build up inside,
But if I tell them all,
They could turn the tide.

I'm probably not the only one,
That hides their feelings,
And if I show all mine,
Theirs might come off peeling.

There are so many,
And they are eating me alive,
If I don't tell them soon,
I'm going to take the dive,

I will go crazy,
So I've decided I'm going to tell,
All my feelings and emotions,
That could cause hell.

I'm not sure how to do it,
Or what I will say,
But I've got to do it soon,
It can't wait another day.

*not the best*

Ah, the hiding how you feel poem. I can relate to this 100%.

Sometimes sharing how you feel can help though. I know it doesn't make everything wonderful again, but it helps knowing someone is listening.

The poem was actually written very nicely, too. So don't say it's not the best. ;P Tehe. I liked it, alot. Keep it up. I like your poetry.
