Photo of pain

by Andrew   Mar 31, 2006

My fingers trace a womans figure
but who i should not know,
holding on to past pains that corrode this wall Ive been building up for so long
rotating in my head the very thoughts of her face,
her eyes, my place
resting assure that a tyrants hand
will take me, and hold me with a mothers love
so sweet a kiss upon my cheek i missed her lips, her velvet touch i never felt
why i may never tell
a single photo holds my life in the ink
and a tear falls upon my past
and my joy at this time seems to pass
loves eternal torment could fill my pain
and still i stare and wait for rain
and night dropping down upon the
troubled eye
my heart is lost and only found in the sky
