Self image

Every morning there she wakes
Every morning Evan before dawn brakes

She needs all this time to make her feel pretty yet on the inside she feels so shitty

She applies so many cosmetics but you cant tell her different as she needs her morning beauty fix

She feels all so self contentious and bad but yet everyone she meets thinks shes rad

They all think shes a beauty and hot

But dont tell her as shes reassured herself so much that shes not

Beautiful slender figure so perfect and long but shell find anything to obsess about as in her mind its all wrong

Dazzling sparkly teeth so shiny n white but to her nothing to do with her image is right

Stunning ocean coloured eyes hidden by her usual awaiting cries

oh , theirs one more cosmetic she needs to put on when she leaves the house after the long while

, to stop people from recognising her thoughts , a big false smile

    =( We all feel this way far too often and its because people dont understand that you and only you look at yourself everyday and see the flaws that no one else sees. If your focused on that and that only you torture yourself and make yourself go crazy to the point where you dont even see the real you anymore.. Well written hun it got to me..

    Ur powerful and opressive writing style blows mine to the shit house lol, but ur definitly gifted, i just hope thats not a feeling poem becuz yes everyon e has an ugly side whether it be physical or emotional, but everyone also has a GREAT, BEAUTIFUL side!. remember that, anywayz ill be back for more poetry from you. the name is mat by the way
