Signs

by ratchild666   Apr 2, 2006

The morning after
Last night before
The quarters fell
And the half was torn

What am I left with
Loneliness at my side
You couldn't throw down
Your ever precious pride

But when you did
At the time you hate
You didn't see the signs
Screaming "too late"

You walked straight past
And into the electric chair
You couldn't even look at me
Just breaking sitting there

And you weren't the only one
I hated the moment too
Freeze this frame forever and end
But what else can I do

I spoke the words outside my head
And you listened as they killed
Your couldn't tear your ears away
As your staring eyes were filled

I dealt you my last hand
And you held it for the night
In the end I lost the gamble
Falling without a fight

Lock it away and maybe again
You'll find the only key
But not before I throw it
As far as the eye can see

Will you try and save us
Or leave me to move by
The ghost is there as always
Watching silently as we die

Nicely worded. There is such sadness and sense of defeat. But a hope that things can change. ;)

By your quotes, urm, this is hard to ask, are you a certain way around... stuff? Lol. God i'm making NO sense. I'm refering to the imperfection/perfection quotes.
If you still dont have a clue, just ask and i'll just blurt it out.

    Lots of love, me. xxx
