The Screaming World

by foreverhappy   Apr 2, 2006

Silence surrounds her
In the screaming world
The cuts on her arm
Twisted and twirled

Her breath so slow
It nearly stopped
But her pain, her pain
Had been forgot

Her sight went blurry
She saw nothing upsetting
All of the surrounding madness
She was quickly forgetting

Her body went numb
She felt no pain
Just numbness and
The feeling of the sane

The blood stopped dripping
From the cuts on her arm
And the maddening screams
Sounded like an alarm
